Fourth of July parades are a childhood staple, and what child doesn’t enjoy decorating their bike? Even if you don’t have a parade in your town, make July 4th a family affair and decorate your bikes with festive decorations and patriotic balloons together.

  1. Use the streamers, garlands, paper fans/honeycombs and small letter balloons to decorate your bike. We attached small letter balloons (filled with air) and honeycombs to the bike’s basket with fishing line. Then, we added star garlands to each handle bar. For the tricycle, we attached a paper fan to the front using fishing line and then added streamers to the handlebars.
  2. Inflate balloons using the Balloon Time Helium Tank and tie each one with a ribbon. We used a mix of latex balloons with a few Mylar accents.
  3. Tie securely balloons to the ends of the handlebars or the back of the bike’s seat and you’re ready to ride!

Share your patriotic bikes with our party planning community on InstagramFacebook  and Twitter.

Note: Adult supervision is required when using balloons. Please read all warnings and precautions on the Balloon Time carton.
