Description

A great decoration that can also be a craft activity for young party guests!

Instructions

1. Select 4 balloons of desired colors.

2. Inflate 2 balloons to about 9 inches, and tie them together at the necks.

3. Inflate the other two slightly smaller, and tie them together at the necks.

4. Twist the two pairs of balloons together.

5. Take three, 12" craft pipe cleaners and twist them together at the bottom.

6. Make a loop in the top of the center pipe cleaner. This will be the head and the other two will be the antennas.

7. Twist the antennas around the "neck" of the butterfly, and bend to shape.

8. Hold the balloon cluster so that the larger balloons are on the top, and weave the bottom end of the 3 pipe cleaners in between the large balloons and out between the small balloons.

9. Take one last pipe cleaner, and twist it around a pencil to shape it into a spiral.

10. Hook the spiraled pipe cleaner around the butterfly's body at the top and the bottom.
