Description

Have the children work as a team to figure out the scrambled word or phrase and put the balloons in the correct order.

Instructions

1. Select a word or phrase related to the occasion with an appropriate level of difficulty for the age of the participants.

2. Write one letter of a word or one word of a phrase related to the occasion on helium-filled balloons.

3. Attach ribbons and scatter the balloons around the room. (Make the ribbons short enough so the children have to stretch or hop to grab them but long enough so they can be grabbed relatively easily.)

Have the children work as a team to figure out the scrambled word or phrase and put the balloons in the correct order. This game can be modified to play outdoors by using balloon weights.
