Traditional Games

Description

An easy and fun way to add giggles to the traditional relay race.

Instructions

1. Divide the players into even teams.

2. Assign a balloon color to each team.

3. Inflate the same number of balloons for each team and attach a ribbon to each one. (If playing outdoors, attach a weight to the other end of the ribbon.)

4. At the signal, the first player from each team runs to the balloons and has to pop a balloon of his/her team's color.

5. After the first player pops one of his/her team's balloons, he/she tags the next player in line who then has to pop another one of the team's balloons.

The team that's first to pop all of its balloons wins! If you play with more than 2 teams, you can make the game longer by having players pop the other teams' balloons.

If you don't have enough balloons to give each team its own color, just use whatever colors you have and mark each team's balloons with a marker or keep the groups separated. Just make sure that each team has the same number of balloons to pop.
