Floral Balloon DIY

Balloons are always such a fun way to add a little flair to a party. We love to use them at doorways, dessert bars, picnic blankets, and (of course) tea party tables! Since our table was already housing tea cups, plates, garland, and our tea party treats, we didn’t need a show stopping arrangement on the table.

What we did need, however, was some balloons to add in a little more of our color palette and floral motif. So we created some fun little floral balloon wreaths to attach to the bottom of our helium filled balloons.

While we placed these floral balloons on our table, they would also look great by a menu board, front door, or just scattered about – a quick and easy way to bring the party all together.

Supplies:

 Printable Flower Pattern

Garden Tea Collage

Instructions:

  1. Inflate your 11-inch balloons using the Balloon Time Helium Tank, tie some string at the end, and set aside.
  2. Use the flower pattern printable to cut flowers out of tissue paper. We used three for each balloon.
  3. Inflate three of your 5-inch balloons with helium and insert into the center cut of the tissue paper flowers.
  4. Use the hot glue gun to glue the outer edges of the tissue paper flowers together to create a wreath shape.
  5. String the 11-inch balloon string through the middle of the flower tissue wreath. Tie the string around the 5-inch balloon ends to keep the wreath in place.

Repeat until you have all the balloons needed for your garden tea party.
